TECHNICAL STANDARDS - TUBES  

NBR 6591  
- Carbon steel tubes with sewing for industrial ends. Supplied by round, square and rectangular sections.
- Tubes for the higher application’s variety, with no demands concerning finishing and mechanical properties, with defined chemical compound.

DIN 2440  
- Tubes for conducting liquids such as water, compressed air, gas, vapor and other non-corrosive liquids. With no specific raw material, for maximum pressure of 25kgf/cm2 for liquids and 10kgf/cm2 for air and non-dangerous gases.
- Supplied only on the round beam. It can also be bought with flat or BSP threaded extremities with or without sleeve.

ASTM A53  
- Conducting tubes on A or B steel degrees, with defined chemical compound and mechanical properties, being the A degrees able to be folded, langed, corkscrew; and the B degrees are able to be limitedly folded and langed
- They can normally be supplied on schedules.
- They can be sewed or not.
- They can be supplied with or without flat or beveled extremities, with or without sleeves and threads.

ASTM A106  
- Conducting tubes on A or B steel degrees, with defined chemical compound and mechanical properties, being the A degrees able to be folded, langed, corkscrew; and the B degrees are able to be limitedly folded and langed.
- SThey can normally be supplied on schedules.
- They can be sewed or not
- They can be supplied with or without flat or beveled extremities, with or without sleeves and threads.
- They can be used in high temperatures.

API 5L  
- The tubes can be used in prospecting, extraction, conduction and processing of petroleum, and gas in refineries, chemical and petrochemical industries, as soon as oil, natural gas and other gases derivatives in transportation.
- They can be supplied with beveled extremities.
